Challenge
As the property joined Hilton’s Curio Collection, it needed a distinctive identity and a clear reason for travelers to choose it. Mid-Market put guests close to San Francisco’s theaters, culture, and creative energy. The opportunity was to make the hotel feel equally connected to the city and restorative within it and turn that promise into a brand guests could recognize, understand, and experience.
Approach
Working alongside Group I, I shaped the brand around one idea: a sanctuary in the city. That positioning gave Timbri a clear way to embrace San Francisco’s creative energy while offering a place to reset.
I connected the strategy to the visual identity, guest collateral, signage, food and beverage brands, and website. A bold green palette and expressive graphics brought the city’s character and references to nature into the brand. My role was to carry the idea through the work, giving Timbri a consistent sense of place from the first online impression to the details guests encounter during their stay.
